Review of the first month of social distancing at the Synspec company

Social Distancing at Synspec

Since one month, Synspec has implemented the procedures as prescribed by the Dutch government and health institutes to prevent and control the spread of the COVID-19 virus.  Now, after one month, its time for a first evaluation of running a company while taking into account the principles of keeping social distanceAfter an initial period of getting used to colleagues working at home, multiple video conferencing and multiple telephone calls, it can be concluded that while taking care of social distancing, it has allowed a rather smooth transition into doing business in a different but still effective way. Manufacturing of the machines, quality control and validation of the performance of our instruments has been maintained at the same level as before the COVID-19 outbreak. Communications with our distributors, customers and suppliers has hardly changed because Synspec always has been operating as a global company.  An exception holds however for a few areas on our globe, which display extended response times due to temporarily lockdown measures.  In summary, Synspec company is pleased to observe that the COVID-19 has only limited effects on production and  the support  to our customers and distributors. Let’s hope that within some period, the same holds for other global regions as well.
